This research designs a triple-linkage braking system for cargo electric three-wheelers to solve asynchronous braking and long braking distance problems of traditional dual braking. SolidWorks modeling, FEA simulation and bench tests are carried out. The new system enables synchronous braking of three wheels with one single operation. It shortens braking distance and improves climbing performance and driving stability for cargo E3W.
