This paper develops a MATLAB/Simulink model to evaluate dynamic performance and energy efficiency of an electric three‑wheeler. The vehicle adopts a 3 kW BLDC motor, 48V 100Ah NMC lithium battery and regenerative braking system. Multiple standard driving cycles including FTP‑75, UDDS and WLTP are applied for simulation tests. The result shows WLTP Class3 best reflects real urban energy consumption. It provides theoretical support for lightweight design and battery matching of electric three‑wheelers.
